It doesn’t matter whether you have EMT or galvanized rigid steel, at some point, in the conduit run, there will be an obstacle requiring a bend.
While an electrician or other operator could bend the conduit him/herself, this is often time-consuming and costly. Sometimes, the degree point to which a conduit needs to be bent in the field may be difficult to accomplish accurately using available equipment.
Committed to being a true problem solver, Calconduit specializes in the following special bends, ranging in diameters from ½” – 6”, stub ups, back-to-back, offsets and three bend saddles. Standard threading and bending capabilities are available in galvanized and aluminum rigid and EMT with diameters ranging from ½ ” – 6” and radii of 12” to 360” in 12” increments. Special large-radii bending capabilities offer custom segment bends (11 ¼ °, 15°, 22 ½ °, 30°, 60°) in a variety of radii, large diameter and difficult-to-field bend stubs and offsets equipped with large diameter special length nipples.
Calconduit has been providing distributors and its customers with special radius sweeps and custom bends for nearly three decades.
Calconduit offers ARRA-Compliant products to meet your project specifications.
